Making you a better line dance instructor through continuing education and awareness. Help us give "life to years and years to life one step at time"
- Program Information -
The Dancing For The Dream Health Charity with The G.R.A.C.E. Program Level II. You are not required to attend the Saturday Workshop Seminar to attend this training but you must be an ACTIVE Line Dance Instructor. We currently are hosting Level I and Level II this year throughout our event season.
According to the Keiser Institute on Aging:
By the year 2010, people aged 55-74 will out number 25-34 year olds by 18 million! Baby boomers (those born 1946-1964) started turning 50 years old 8 years ago, at a rate of one every 7 seconds, around the world. In the USA, the rate of those turning 50 years old are 11,000 per day. This will continue for the next 10 years.
As we are aging, health costs are soaring as we become more lax in taking care of our bodies and our minds. The demand for fitness programs and line dance classes with qualified professionals who can provide them will dramatically increase, creating tremendous opportunities for those who are prepared. Are you prepared to teach our aging population?
Program Levels:
The G.R.A.C.E. Program, created for our Line Dance Instructors who work with our "increasing and demanding" Active Adult Market is now available. We host the Training on Friday Nights prior to the Saturday Dancing For The Dream Seminar/Workshop.
G.R.A.C.E. stands for: The Geriatric Research and Continuing Education Program. It is a 3 Level Training Course preparing you for our growing market of line dancers and the obstacles they incur with the aging process. All levels are "on the floor and manual" training.
[ Level I ] - is for Social Line Dance Instructors
[ Level II ] - is for Social Instructors working with 1st, 2nd and 3rd level Seniors - more intense
[ Level III ] - will be the final stage to becoming Certified and Endorsed to work with our HMO's, Medical, Senior and Health Centers in the USA/Canada.
You will receive a Certificate of Continuing Education (3 CEU's) acknowledging that you have completed Level 1 and/or Level II of The G.R.A.C.E. Program.
Your Instructor for the courses will be Certified Gerontologist and Active Adult Line Dance Specialist Rosie Multari of New Jersey.
