"Adding Years To Your Life & Life To Your Years"

The Dancing For The Dream® Corporation is a National 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Corporation established by Ms. Scooter Lee for the purpose of promoting health physically and emotionally through low-impact line dancing. As a nonprofit health charity, we use line dancing as a means to gather statistics on the movements during dance (Country Western Line Dance) that hurt or enhance a person's health over the age of 50. We are also recording what level of line dance (Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced) keep long term health by lowering high blood pressure and cholesterol levels, increase balance control & centering, increase bone mass and most important; increase mobility without joint damage.

Our Mission:

According to the Keiser Institute on Aging:

By the year 2010, people aged 55-74 will outnumber 25-34 year olds by 18 million! Are you prepared? Baby boomers (those born 1946-1964) started turning 50 eight years ago, at a rate of one every 8 seconds, around the world. In the USA, the rate is 11,000 per day...it will continue to do so for the next 10 years. Health Care costs will accelerate drastically if we don't put healthy eating habits and exercise into our daily routine. The demand for fitness programs and line dance classes and the qualified professionals who can provide them will dramatically increase, creating tremendous opportunities for those who are prepared.
