Saturaday Time slot: 10am-4pm - Doors open 9:30am. When you arrive you will go to the registration table to pick up your Name Tag, Goodie Bag and Program Booklet. Each person registered has a chance at the Grand Prize which is something that will enhance their lifestyle. We do a lesson, dance the lesson twice and then repeat up to 3 dances. 15 minutes of social dance between each teach. At noon we provide a box lunch of sandwich, chips, soda and water or coffee. We also use this hour to draw for the Grand Prize and open the floor for social dancing and open for our 50/50 Raffle. At 1pm we start all over again with some new dances and repeat those you learned in the morning session. We draw the winning ticket for the 50/50 raffle at 3pm and the winner takes 1/2. Your Registration Fee / Donation is 100% tax deductible. Any money you spend that day is tax deductible and considered furthering your education in health. We welcome all ages although our money is raised to fund research on the benefits of line dancing for those over the age of 50.
We are NOT mainstream, so our dance levels are for Starters - Seasoned - Experienced (not to be confused with advanced dancing) Many of our seniors have been dancing for years but don't choose to do high impact dances. As we age, many of us deal with pains, arthritis, high cholesterol and high blood pressure. High impact dances only aggravate these conditions. For this reason, we stay with good, easy, fun-to-learn and fun-to-do low impact dances. We add variations for the more experienced dancer so everyone dances but at his/her level.
